The wisecracking about "well is coups are legal Biden should just order Trump to jail" seem to forget that fascists don't follow their own rules. It was "not allowed" for Obama to appoint Garland to the Supreme Court in an election year but for Trump no such problem. There's no point making more rules for whom they won't be enforced or expecting the same rule to be enforced equally to everyone. Either the rules should apply or they shouldn't and that goes for everyone.

@stux all I want is a reasonably sized pickup truck with an engine that doesn't eat 7 dinosaurs per mile. I don't know that they exist for sale in the US anymore. It's funny as well, there are a lot of pickup trucks where I live and the "big" trucks from the late 1980s and early 1990s are smaller than the "standard" trucks you can buy today.

@vkc My favorite is the red dot on Windows Defender if you don't consent to back up your files to Onedrive. It's under "security" like you need to take action immediately lest the viruses GET YOU.

@stux recently reloaded my laptop and signed into Firefox again with my profile on linux. It carried over all my settings and history EXCEPT for my default search engine (changed back to Google) and sponsored shortcuts (turned back on). That seems like very intentional behavior since all of my other strict privacy settings all stayed intact and synced properly.

Well everybody, it has come to my attention that #WordPress ™©® may need to be #forked for the good of the group.Has anyone been a part of any of the big forkings of the past or manage any #opensource projects that have any insight about what it might take to accomplish such a task?I know making a fresh GitHub account is basically Step Negative 15. What sort of challenges would a new community fork of WordPress be facing?I personally would be willing to contribute all that I can which most likely wouldn't be a huge help just because I'm not that knowledgeable but if anybody is starting out in that direction I'd be willing to join up.(Disclaimer: I'm not associated with Automattic or WPEngine in any way.
