First hand stories about Russian women at war. Already married as well as single women are forced to be “field wives” for the officers. Involves cooking, cleaning and sex. Those who refuse are punished severely. Mostly its women serving as nurses in military hospitals that are being victimized.This practice was routine in the Soviet Army during WWII. Some Moscovites are objecting to government building a mosque next to their church. And they/Greeks wrote the text you are referring to circa 100 years after supposed events. But Christians have been tribal in a religious sense. Today the “tribe” can be based on all sorts of characteristics (right/left/sexual preferences/team)

Hebrew bible considers shedding of any innocent blood as a serious crime. Murder is prohibited regardless of tribe under all circumstances. Killing (but not murder) is permitted in certain contexts such as war or when dealing ith an intruder.

We have learned that eating salad is good for you but people are eating unhealthy and growing fatter because brain is telling us to get calories asap. Could be weeks before we kill the next mammoth.

Copying others, group think is another built in mechanism. Tests show: people say obvious nonsense, 11th is very likely to repeat as brain is telling it must be true.
