You probably hear of #brouter, one of the easy and free to use route planning tool for people on #bicycles. The nice thing about it, is the user is not tied with any particular platform or service, and can generate routes in the ubiquitous #GPX format.Since it's open source, there are many instances you can choose to use, but the one available from brouter.m11n.de has some cool extra options, additional profiles to choose from, and sharing routes as QR codes.

You probably heard of #OsmAnd, the swiss knife map app that uses #OpenStreetMap data, but do you know that there's a web-based interface, too?Check out https://osmand.net/map, and plan your trips with routing, and various map rendering options, while doing so in the comfort of your desktop browser.It even includes weather forecasts, if you're trying to avoid getting wet for your weekend ride.You don't even need to register for an #OsmAnd, or #OpenStreetMap account to use it.

@Zergling_man Usually, it's construction.So, it's not unusual to find a combination like: building=church + building:use=residentialOr, a closer example to what you presented, say building=church + amenity=library. Some might also add building:use=libraryhttps://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/keys/building%3Ause#values

when i get back to my desk, I should find out whether the issue is relevant for the #osmand version from #fdroid .they do actively take parts out that goes against the FDroid guidelines.

@barefootstache @vespucci_editor Are you qualifying that statement with better than #idEditor **on mobile**, for power users? 😁 I found that for many casual OSM users, with simple needs (editing attributes, adding POIs) they actually find #OSMapp more usable.

The map caught my attention, while watching #EcoAfrica -- another #OpenStreetMap in the wild.It featured a group of volunteer divers in the Mediterranean who clean the water for toxic trash (lead sinkers, plastic nets, etc.), and they appear to be using a web app to monitor what they haul.

Have you heard of #StreetComplete for #OpenStreetMap ?It's a fun OSM "editor", gamified, to make it more interesting for casual or new mappers. Do you know that there's a fork called #SCEE with advanced editing capabilities (like editing tags directly), and meant for experienced mappers? It's still a fun app. 🥳
