So, British ISPs manipulate DNS, even 1.1.1.1 DNS responses..I have a hostname that goes to 172.18.0.1 that does not want to resolve (it does in other places), other hosts of same domain resolve fine..

@niclas yes I'm awareWe use it for people who are connected through VPN to access the tings on the private network.And like I said before, some ISPs mess with DNS, refusing to let an A record resolve a private IPthey block it on their own DNS servers, but they also manipulate queries to 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8I could run DNS over the VPN, but that would mess with the region resolve of some services

@niclas The one reason I can think of why they do this, so people's lan/network can't get scanned by a malicious sitesbut it also breaks legit stuff.. and that's frustrating..
