       @futurebird @maxleibman I started avoiding ads years ago. I refuse to watch TV if the price is commercials. I pay for streaming to watch without them.Recently, I've seen advertising become so intrusive, I get physically ill.I visited the Saxx website, said no to the popup begging for my email address, and the moment I left, I immediately got an email welcoming me to Saxx spam. 🤯But I have one more that I just found that's wayyyy more disturbing...

       @futurebird @maxleibman I started using Ancestry again, I've used it a few of times in the last 5 years, had a sub for a month once.There are hints that come up, one was for a woman who is very obviously not my dad.I recognized one of the photos that has been used to advertise to me on FB CONSTANTLY over the last few years, but not from Ancestry! Some other company snagged a pic thinking was my dad, to advertise to me about something else entirely! 🤯🤬
