MEN ARE NOT AND CAN NEVER BECOME WOMEN. “RACHEL” McKINNON IS A MAN. HE IS A MAN. HE HE HE. Sorry, just enjoying the novelty of being able to say it without being modded.

It's Schroedinger's condition: not a mental health issue at all, how dare you imply I'm mentally ill and simultaneously driving thousands of teens to kill themselves through mental distress.Pick a lane, people.@FeartnTired @AprilTui @Lemondrizzle

@HebrideanHecate @FeartnTired @AprilTui @Lemondrizzle We're using children as guinea pigs in ways that fly in the face of medical ethics. This will be our century's lobotomy scandal.

Thank you for replying. I know I'm caught in a trap of pain avoidance and my life has narrowed accordingly, so I'm open to trying it. My pain does (up to a point) respond to opioids and obviously there are considerations to bear in mind about their long-term use. I'm with you on yoga and acupuncture - yoga is inappropriate for my condition and acupuncture did nothing. I hope you find something that works for you to give you some relief. @MelissaS @AthenasWrench

A professor at the UK's most prestigious university has received THREATS FROM STUDENTS credible enough for the university to have employed security guards to escort her around campus, but said university has not suspended or otherwise sanctioned those students? No concerns about students trying to bring about the curtailment of academic freedom and rigour by way of actual personal harm to academic staff? And what did Professor Todd do to receive these threats? She did not identify historic lesbians who dressed in male clothing as trans.Show me the transpeople having to be escorted by security guards to be able to do their job. Stop this rhetoric of "most oppressed EVAH by violen TERFs" and open to your eyes to the people *actually* being oppressed, being threatened with violence, being silenced. It sure as hell isn't transpeople. It is, as it ever was, women.https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2020/01/23/oxford-university-professor-given-security-guards-lectures-threats/

@FeartnTired @Camille They try to weaponise the mitigating circumstances policy for everything from Granny’s death to a stubbed toenail, scrape a 2:2 but get a decent job anyway because Mummy and Daddy can afford to pay their rent and expenses while they do their unpaid internship at that FTSE500 company where “Daddy knows someone”.

@FeartnTired @Camille Not to uni - my parents needed me to start working at 18 to contribute to our household income. I had a decent job and was a higher rate taxpayer for a while, until health stuff got in the way. Now I have a less well-paid job and a slightly better work-life balance.

@FeartnTired @Camille <empathic Spinster hug>One day I like to think I’d be able to manage an OU degree but if it ever happened it would almost certainly be too late for my parents to see me graduate. It’s on the bucket list though.

@TranimeGirl That's an old tweet that I've seen and robustly critiqued a few times now. The headline is parodying the content of the tweet and the comments are mostly of the "of course cancer should take priority" variety or focusing on possible mismanagement by the hospital.
