I've had this strange thing going on the past year or so. I've had this SERIOUS pull every time I go back to Kentucky. (I'm only like 30 minutes away but don't live there anymore. Where I grew up and where my family's at is between 1hr and 1 hr 45 minutes, depending on which family I'm visiting. But this is a strange pull to just go off in the woods. The woods in KY are similar but not exactly like the woods where I live now. 1/

I had a flashback memory while driving to work this morning.Wendy and I competed at a speech tournament when we were in 7th grade.We performed a piece from Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn.I was Becky and she was Tom.We received our notes from the judges and one judge commented, "Try not to use such an exaggerated southern accent."We were very confused because we were NOT using accents.

This grave is in Eastern Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky. There is a doc about the cemetery called Facing East which tells its disturbing history. I've included to text images telling part of the story so read at your own risk. Ada's grave has been used by local witches for at least the last 15 years since I've been visiting there. The star on her headstone, a symbol of the Order of the Eastern Star, must have confused a witch years ago and Ada became a legend. "I'll Live Again"1/2

James Dobson was the assistant to Paul Popenoe & it greatly influenced his later teachings which scarred my childhood & early adulthood. Mother was a huge Dobson fan. For 15 years after no contact in 2000, she sent me Dobson's books, signed me up for some letter club thing he had going on, pamphlets showed up at my door. It was harassment. Between him & Pat Robertson, my childhood was a nightmare because my mom, who was already spiteful, got sucked into their teachings. Glad he's gone.

@futurebird I'm waiting to make sure there are enough available for those who need them first. Our local CVS & Walgreens are supposedly not carrying the covid vaccine anymore. I have a doc appt in October and discussion with him then.
