@Babayaga You are far from alone with this. I’m in Canada and have faced the same shit. We need more women, honest builders, working for a fair price, in this field - they’d have our business for life - plus all of our neighbours’ and relatives’ business too. So many people, even other men my husband has talked to, feel cheated and abused having to deal with anyone in the building trades. What the fuck is wrong with these people!

It would be easier to sympathize with these athletes if they were not so busy being such compliant hand maids to this system. As athletes, are they not supposed to represent strength and toughness? They make all women look like stupid cowards. The only honourable way to handle this is to quit the team or find some meaningful form of protest.
