@thatguyoverthere didn't it come from Mastodon though? I remember talking to a guy a few years ago about a mastodon that he was creating, I'm not sure if this is the same site or it's a different guy, but he essentially said that anyone can join when he gets up and running, I haven't heard from him since then though, but it's still very confusing to me.

@thatguyoverthere well the dude I was talking to back then went by the name of nomad capitalist, and I found him through Discord, I think the dude lived in Louisiana or something, he told me it was a flyover state LOL. But yeah he was talking about building this site that would allow anyone to join, but if his wasn't the original then all these other systems use Mastodon in some way or another if I understand that correctly.

@johnnyappleseed yeah I've been getting annoyed by the bot accounts, always posting their cartoon pornography, like I'm not against pornography, but it's just kind of annoying because some accounts aren't bot accounts, and they post the same shit as bot accounts do lpl. You just can't win.

@freepatriot give it time, eventually it'll start hitting those people who think it's so great, they will eventually start seeing it within their own neighborhoods and their own City, and it'll get to a point where they can't handle any of it. It's the kind of thing that takes time to show up.
