@adamasnemesis I wish I could say I understood you, but how could I truly understand you based only on your posts (which I quite enjoy, btw)? My sincere wish for you is to connect with a real person who makes you feel understood. It's all too-rare to find it, but we all need that sort of connection and understanding in our lives. Thanks for the art shares!

Wintery dead fall collects in the tight curves of the Lower Rouge River, as seen at sunrise last week. This river never freezes, due to Ypsilanti's waste water treatment plant discharge upstream.Climate change is causing more (and more intense) rainstorms, which means untreated/partially treated sewage will enter this river more frequently. Hopefully storm and waste water systems can be separated some day.#art #photograph #landscape #nature #climate #environment #Michigan #RougeRiver

Backlit branches during the ice storm last Wednesday. Made this pic on my phone while walking Licorice the Labradoodle. As of this morning, about 50k in Michigan still waiting for power to be restored. DTE called it the worst ice storm in 50 years. Climate change is making storms increasingly intense. #photography #art #IceStorm #Michigan #ClimateChange #Nature #ConservationPhotography #PhonePic

@dave Yes, well, I'd feel better if the government/judicial system got the ball rolling.

Fall along the Lower Rouge River. This beautiful little river is slowly making a comeback, but it still has a long way to go. The fish are still unsafe to eat, and the river still swells with only partially treated sewage with each severe rain -- which climate change is making increasingly common. Despite these challenges, decades of restoration efforts, environmental protection, and regulatory enforcement of polluters have made a real difference for the better!#Photography #PureMichigan
