@kara_dreamer I don't question that Gab is a very bad place...I believe *very* strongly that calling anyone who doesn't follow the demands of any person they are a, "coward and nazi sympathizer" is an extreme and hurtful action to take.Which apparently is what Gab is looking for...@Laurelai

@kara_dreamer OK, thank you...How would my blocking them have *any* impact on that?The only impact possible that, "blocking" them has, is preventing them from *directly* communicating with people on that instance...My instance has 3 users, all controlled by myself...I believe they have proven they *can* exert control, through people who will fight tooth and nail to prove that totalitarianism is worth it if it keeps the nazis out...@Laurelai

@art This man *may* actually be very smart. The only product he is delivering is a t-shirt. Everything else is a "discount". If he makes his goal, he is very much very smart. Even if he doesn't, but actually gets a significant number of people backing it, that would be a pretty decent thing for him getting "supporters".

@james I support the blocking of Gab for you totally. I'm pretty sure that if you were to wait until you started to have local users reporting, a lot of harm would be done.The thing is, the way that blocking works, it still won't prevent the harm, as a good portion of what could be harmful, can drop out of going through Gab. Still, what we *can* do for larger, especially vulnerable instances should be. Good luck...

@james That's a level that would be nice to be able to set. Of course it's on nginx so if one doesn't have that access... It seems like it would be difficult. But probably not impossible. What would be nice is to somehow at the iptables level somehow set it to drop, and I saw someone who had something, I kind of think it was @slightlyflightyone but that might be entirely wrong.
