@shacker his character just makes me laugh, i love his storylines and his swearing. His character has changed a lot, he was just gruff in the first few episodes, but then you find out about his great relationship with his niece, he goes from just a footballer to a good coach, and he's becoming a mentor to the younger players like Jamie. One of my favorite scenes is when he takes Isaac to the field where he played as a kid and told him to just have fun.

@shacker the most recent episode shows how much he's changed since season 1, how he interacts with Isaac instead of yelling at him, and his press conference. I'm happy with what they're doing with all the characters, even Nate. I bet Nate ends up back at Richmond.

One of the first ebooks I bought when I got a Kindle was Wool by Hugh Howey. I knew it was sci-fi but thought sheep must be involved. I remember really liking the series, but it's been so long since I've read it i only vaguely remember the story. It's not about sheep. I just watched the first episode of the more appropriately named Apple TV show Silo based on the books. I liked it! So glad Apple is creating such great sci-fi content. #silo #wool #scifi

@jeffjarvis LOL what a precious article. Yes, too much swearing is definitely what is wrong with our society, not economic inequality or more guns than people. I guess the author isn't a fan of Ted Lasso. The British know how to swear properly.

Does anyone in the southern US or a similar climate grow oyster mushrooms? I bought some at a farmers market the other day from a guy who grows them in a greenhouse. They're delicious but expensive. I would like to try growing some, am going to research it. #Gardening #FoodGardeners #Mushrooms

@trouble thanks! I have sunny spots and also woods, what would be better? So I got a mushroom kit a few years ago but it was for inside and was just for two batches. Do they keep going outside after getting them started?

@leo since there are so many signups I doubt they'll federate. The entire point of Threads is to collect massive amounts of info about users to serve them ads and since none of us here are signed up for that, interacting with the broader Fediverse won't benefit their business model.
