So, now that I've been using #mpd to stream music from my VPS, I thought: why not give it a try as a music player on the #Mobian #PinePhone too?Using MyMPD as a web-frontend in "cog" WPE, this seems quite usable, actually #YearOfTheLinuxSmartphone

@pojntfx @linmob Hab' es inzwischen sogar ausprobiert auf dem Gerät. Ist allerdings auch schon wieder ein paar Wochen her. Hatte dafür sowohl den Wiki-Eintrag als auch dein Video benutzt :D An der Stelle nochmal: Danke!Performance und usability insgesamt sind echt erstaunlich gut. Probleme hab' ich noch mit der Akkulaufzeit, suspend/Crust scheint hier nicht wirklich zu funktionieren. Gibt's da vielleicht etwas zu beachten?

@deavmi @cryptpad wie already See around us that some kind of Union is the onlg long term option for European countries. Without it we are political and economic dwarfs.There are lots of positive regulations in place - both for economy a and protection of individual's rights.Obvly there are dangerous attempts like CC. Similar demands have existed on national stages before. This is not an EU-specific issue, but ofc we have to fight it together as citizens

@deavmi @cryptpad I am not a EU-institution's fanboy. The EU has done stupid and horrible stuff in the past, particularly if you look at migration policy and FRONTEX. There are several thousand ppl dying at our borders. Our institutions are involved in pushbacks and we are not quite there yet when it comes to a union based on values. In some cases it is a farce, hiding national interest and ultraconservative politics behind it

@deavmi @cryptpad either way, we are not going to make it without it. A purely economic union is not enough, it will do us no favours. Institutions have to be democratized and we need more rather than less integrations. Also a solid federalistic system is key here

Obviously there needs to be investment in PT infrastructure & money for their workers. That has to happen synchronously, they are right in their demands for that. But arguing that there can't be cheap PT for everyone is completely counter productive

@atoponce I know that people use that meme jokingly, but it actually shows the strong side of Linux too. I certainly do not want certain ingredients shown here and others may have their preferences too. So anyone is able to swap ingredients before compiling. It's really hard to do it afterwards 😉
