@Sabex it all depends upon the weld profile, material composition. General welding gas for your mig/mag welder will argon co2 mix, now if your weding duplex stainless steels you will add a little bit of oxygen to allow deeper penetration through the hard as fuck steel. TIG weldi g just loves the pure argon, but different metal transfer method. It ain't all the same jack.

@DaddyO shade the side of the house 1-2" offset will reduce the heat coming in. Use 2" square horizontal so the view is still there
