@hn50 the Rhode Island judge that Donald Trump went batshit crazy about last month ... is best known for going after Big #Tobacco, and then being called on by his state to go after #lead in children's lives. * the Republicans went after him for previously being a defense lawyer in private practice -- but had that judge been in public service since age 25, they'd smear him as some lifelong government person 🙄

@stux that is pretty much the example I use to describe Escape Velocity (a slightly harder throw) .... and putting the egg into orbit (in between those two throws so the egg continuously "falls" toward earth for about a hundred years in orbit before decaying)

@futurebird the people not doing childhood shots have their own alternatives... there are "50 signs for $100" being placed on street corners here to purchase high alkaline water. (there's even a parking lot address to visit today, to meet folks willing to try home brew "9.5 to 10.5 pH" water poured into gallon jugs)

@futurebird Houston may be having a beautiful day, but I'm not sure because it is low humidity. (we could have 50 mph winds and forty degrees temps, and it'd be a beautiful day as long as humidity is not greenhouse levels) * plus the local morning news said tomorrow "will be even better" ... which is not possible since today is low humidity

@foone I liked AT power supplies for compatibility with internal CD-ROM for its on/off load. (used to be $4 for the PS, $5 for tunes drive, and three bucks for Labtec speakers at garage sales ... a $12 boom box that stacked!) * these parts are now sixty bucks on eBay 🙄
