@verita_84 I will still be working on that (along with other people), but currently we are in the final stages(already accepted, just the "administrative" for now) of getting a grant from NLNet. After that we can focus on implementing federation.

@BrodieOnLinux Great video, you're spot-on. I do have two remarks:Every owner is equal, no main or assistant owner. Even though one could make the argument that lunny is the main owner due to being the owner throughout the history. The blog post didn't address or mention the open letter, it was an "clarification", but that can be seen as an indirectly addressing the open letter.Source: I'm part of the team that wrote the open letter & ex-Gitea maintainer(https://pad.gusted.xyz/VL2dufhjQKi8a2OPm7Y8NQ#)

@BrodieOnLinux I stand corrected; I'm not sure how I missed that. However, as a Gitea maintainer, I don't believe this has ever been translated into practical terms for the elected owners.

@Codeberg @mmeier I'm not sure, I still don't see the benefit of syncs. I'd prefer to just see that code go away.

@a Doesn't seem like it's possible to isolate any of the variables. This equation has no trivial simplification (other than extracting the c-b power, which helps nothing). I cannot find anything about these two tuples online (which otherwise would suggest they might be part of some sequence).FWIW bruteforcing does not yield any other solutions, for any combination of a,b,c, under 2500. Just the two you mentioned.

@a 33 bytes:import ctypes;ctypes.string_at(0)Could probably be less bytes, if there's another function that allows to pass the raw address.

@a You've successfully discovered the weirdest built-in constant of Python, Ellipsis. (Just right behind license and credits built-in).

Oh no! a wild security feature for @forgejo has appeared that even Github doesn't have! https://codeberg.org/forgejo/forgejo/pulls/4662#forgejo

@feld @forgejo Having a verified SSH key is also a form of 2FA. For both occasions, you still need to know the password, so if your SSH key is leaked, it won't give anyone instant access to your account.

@phnt @forgejo A instance-wide option will be added - the PR is now WIP again.

I've written another Linux kernel module (my second one, and counting) for the YubiKey 5. It acts as a driver for the yubikey, so it can be used as a hardware RNG provider for the Linux kernel. It uses the OpenPGP application that's available on the yubikey to generate random bytes, which are then mixed into the entropy pool of the kernel. It also automatically mixes new generated bytes into the pool after the kernel reseeds (behavior of the hw_random framework). Now you can even feel more secure about using /dev/(u)random.Source code: https://codeberg.org/Gusted/yk5-randomFor, what I assume, security reasons, the yubikey's LED stays on because the driver uses the CCID interface, which is quite distracting.#security #yubikey

@davidrevoy @andre https://codeberg.org/forgejo/governance/src/branch/main/branding#mascot is the current canonical source for Forgejo's mascot.I think it's cool to have a name for the mascot, let me know and I will create a pull request for it.

@andre_601This requirement is not new and was already there before, because no FSF/OSI allowed license disallows commercial usage of content. What did change is that the following kinds of work can be licensed to disallow commercial use:> As an exception to this requirement, works which primarily describe the personal opinions or experiences of the author, or which embody the unique personal creative spirit of the author, may be included in public repositories under a copyright licence which does not allow modification and/or commercial use, such as a Creative Commons licence with NC or ND restrictions@Codeberg
