I miss Cell animation. I know it was grueling work but god damn you can tell the difference between a modern anime and the oldschool stuff back in the day. Maybe i'm biased but I fucking love and miss the style of the anime back in the 80's. Vampire hunter D, Dominion Tank Police, Project A-ko, Record of Lodoss Wars, Demon City Shinjuku, you name it.

I blame corporations absurd focus on continual profits. at some point corporations wanted control of it all but none of the risks in experimenting with new branches of entertainment. They always go for what is comfortable, stable, what's already been proven. That is why most marvel movies tend to be the fucking same thing.

Christopher McCandless aka Alexander Supertramp is the prime example of fools who idolize living off the land without actually training for it. They think they can just go out and bag an animal and eat wild plants and not end up dead. I don't even know WTF he was thinking with the Moose. Even if he had some root cellar designed and dried out the meat in strips the amount of prep and hauling damn near a thousand lbs of meat for a scrawny ass guy like him would've been days worth of labor.

I fucking hate modern audio with this bullshit. Put the volume at 50 so you can hear the god damn 'whisper' talking when they're speaking normally. A fucking explosion happens and you either have family in the rest of the house complaining what that noise was or if you're in a apartment they start banging the walls. like Mother fucker i just want to hear the conversation without straining.

yeah I can get the initial sympathy because we would think any common decent human being would take one look at that fat fuck and think 'omg trash fire, letme get myself and my kid out of here' but nope, she embraces it.
