I've worked on build-sites and in industrial roles but never have I been more in fear for my life trying to work around a woman in a professional kitchen. The amount of times they will pick up a pan of scolding hot liquid or hold a knife out point forward and swing around without looking is terrifying when all the men are happily weaving past each other.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @caekislove Nah, I've heard this for years and don't buy it. Men are the most unconscientious people in the world. They are also the most conscientious. In my experience women are the least consistent in being conscientious. Just like the intelligence bell curve, it's flatter for men but a standard deviation ahead of women who's average clusters towards mediocrity or worse in the virtue. The main burden of male responsibility in my life and in the lives of all the men I observe around me regarding our women is the patience we have with their utter thoughtlessness. Perhaps a well groomed woman will learn what to divert her energy towards but I have never seen such sans a male leading them in such a way. Likewise I have never seen women naturally make bonds with other women in a vacuum anywhere approaching that between men, nor ply some mythical feminine guile to diffuse a situation. To the contrary It has always been cooler headed men to navigate such troubled social waters in my experience. If anything their only leverage would be to force men to take the burden of them into account when considering confrontation with another.I suspect the reason many guys will relate to your summation is because many of our recent generations, God help the Zoomers, have had to feel their way towards the masculine rolls with every societal pressure except the reality of their relationships telling them to do otherwise. The ONLY exceptions I have ever encountered were Nuns and individuals of excellence like Florence Nightingale, all of whom had extremely influential and hands on male tutelage and in their writings expressed every contempt for common women of all social strata, especially those baying for access to what was effectively social manhood.It's very easy, especially today, for men to forgo their duties of leadership and just say "yes honey"; that was Adam's first sin in a way.

@IsraelDelendaEst @Godcast This page doesn't describe the principle replacement, of which it has a massive gap, the colonising of English and Scottish in Ulster didn't start in earnest until 1610 after the "Flight of the Earls" of O'Niell and O'Donnell. The Settling of these groups was specifically to wipe away the Gaelic identity of Ulster on account of it being the strongest centre of such. @IsraelDelendaEst @Godcast We can play that game all the way to the Scythian steppe friend, I don't think the Irish care how related they are to the Scots when they have their land stolen, their culture erased and their language suppressed. Of which Gallic is as similar to Gaelic As Portuguese and Spanish and Scots is another story entirely.

@EHP @TrevorGoodchild The definition of "Semitic" is that one is a descendant of Shem (Shem-itic) and so conflating the linguistic definition with ethnic is pretty meaningless. Pretty much the entire middle east is a descendant of Shem. Palestinians specifically, like all Arabs, are even closer relatives of modern Jews in that they are descended from Abraham's first born, Ishmael, which then re-married into the line of Jacob via Zipporah of Midia to Moses.Both peoples claiming descent from Shem does make it quite ridiculous when Jews screech "anti-Semitism" for criticising their treatment of Palestinians.
