@mjg59 Last week, Air France managed to send me a calendar invite for a UK-FR flight with correct times and timezones on both ends (yay!) except the description text contained "local time of departure" and "local time of arrival" and they managed to get BOTH of those wrong (what?)

@mjg59 Heard a very interesting French podcast on TB cases in Paris, with interviews of the contact tracing team. Many here associate the disease with poor people, but sadly anybody can catch it (mostly in the underground), as the vaccine protection wanes over time. I hope you're safe.https://www.binge.audio/podcast/programme-b/enquete-le-retour-de-la-tuberculose-1-3

@mjg59 During my first oncall rotation at Google (9 years ago), I learned how to roll out a release to N datacenters by opening N terminals and running `borgcfg` in each of them — carefully picking the order manually, based on the worldmap, so that I didn't push to two continents at the same time. (Yes, one of my first proposals to the team was to setup some kind of automation.)
