@gorfram @zleap I have tried taking off the first 0 and the last digit, and it does not connect. So not only did they provide information in a stupid way, but a phone number that doesn't in fact, work in the first place. Incompetence knows no bounds.

You're half asleep, and the bell rings.You hear your mum go to the door, but don't really know what's going on. You're just 7 years old and therefore, likely don't know too much anyway.That was me, one day in 1990 or 1991. Lying in bed, minding my own business. I know it's late, the rest of the house was likely preparing for bed, when this happened.As the story's told to me later, my mum goes to the door to find police on the doorstep asking for Andre Louis.Slightly shocked by this turn of events, she says something like 'Yes he does live here, but he's a child, and blind on top of all that.'The police likely don't believe her, and want proof, so she carries me wrapped up in blankets, to the door.It's the police's turn to be stunned. There's an awkward silence and then they leave.It later turns out that my uncle Adrian used my mum's address and my name to avoid paying a parking ticket. Not funny then, but certainly amusing years later.

People balk at app subscriptions which can in some cases aid in development costs etc, but they'll happily pay for Netflix, favourite coffee shop or whatever.I'm not starting beef with anyone, but I'm just here to ask a simple question. Why?If someone works hard on something and updates multiple times a year, is an app subscription so terrible?Your electricity doesn't change month on month, it doesn't exactly get better unless you live in one of these places that gets powercuts every 15 seconds, but otherwise, you still have to pay it to stay on the grid.Is an app subscription such a terrible thing? Genuinely curious.

@art If you're blind, that goes to teams. Zoom is much, much more accessible tbh. Shortcut keys everywhere. Teams just makes me want to use very very rude words at all times and I have asked companies to use zoom over teams for that very reason. Piece of utter crap.

@BlindGordon What make of printer do you have? I have Epson for a few reasons but one reason is because all their cartridges are keyed, meaning that you literally cannot put the wrong one in the wrong socket.I previously had a canon printer which didn't have keyed cartridges but I thought it did.Took the thing out of the box, took the cartridges out, put them in the slots first time! I thought I was just that good!Turns out every single! One was in the wrong slot and I needed my wife's help to rearrange them properly.I had Epson years before, then it broke and well you know, printers, so I tried other stuff... Ended back up at Epson and I'm glad I did.

Every time I see the word 'Bug' or the phrase 'Bug fixes' in an app update, a pigeon dies somewhere. Today I had 19 updates. Probably 55 of those 19 said some version of Bug or Bug fix, and nothing more than that.
