Site wide server blocking should have an opt outIt's to protect users, I understand that, but if I click a button that says "I'm ready, I can take it, take the kid gloves off" you should let meIf you don't display my interactions with blocked servers to users who haven't ticked that box, their experience will remain unchanged and safeWhy would you NOT allow this?(All this keeping in mind I would remain beholden to this server's rules in relation to my own posts, I support that)

@realcaseyrollins in regards to universally illegal content, I agree, I didn't have the character limit to add that because this instance is very limited in that, but I think that should be on a hard block list that cannot be disabledOn laws between countries, it's a bit harder to solve, but I guess what goes on that hard block list should vary by country, ie servers in Netherlands or Germany would be within reason modifying their conditions for that list to fit their laws

You can extend the character limit quite a lot using polls, which is great because 500 is far too few and completely artificial, it's a cultural thing that stems from twitter which I'm sure wed all like to distance ourselves from, originally based on the length of an SMS, then doubled, I hear people say it's supposed to force creativity or make you think about what really needs including but I've never found that, for me it's only ever limited communication, made it difficult to talk with my fel
