@bram @kaniini public/unlisted/follower-only/directEspecialy the follower-only is problematic, as its almost redundant with unlisted, and you have limited control on it.

@kaniini talking of captions, is there a way to add those in Pleroma ? Is this accessibility feature present ?And not the name of the file, it's usually not a good caption.

@Sir_Boops vim and emacs can be installed on other OS than Linux.

@rin That page does not exists though. There's no AUR package for Pleroma either (I wonder if I could fix that). There's a page for Mastodon, but it's a small stub with nothing really intereresting.

@kaniini That's something I would like to read.Last year I was trying to write an AP server and I gave up. Though I'm still interested to have/write a front-end different from the current twitter(deck)-like ones, preferably on top of the C2S API.

@kaniini I don't plan to use the Mastodon API with the client I have in mind (or support Mastodon)

@kaniini @a_breakin_glass @sum You can scrap the public outbox of anyone by using the ActivityPub protocol (it's available by design of the protocol, and writing a scraper for that is rather easy). You need a directory of accounts, but you could start with the follow list of a follow bot, and complete it when scraping account posts.

@yaaps @trwnh I made a C2S client last year. I never released it and mostly abandon it as I wasn't happy with what I was doing or the C2S support in Pleroma (that I was using as AP server). It is able to display your inbox and outbox, post things to your outbox, and see the outboxes of anyone else.I could try it again with other AP servers with C2S support, but I don't have much time for this.
