       @mjg59 it seems like I don't understand something here. I use argon2i and if I updrade to -d the GPUs can't use 16k threads anymore but 24. Why should I care? Thats less than 1000x, right? Isn't that neglectable compared to the incredible high number I have already? Like 1000×infinity=infinity?

       @ZDF Der Grund warum in DE nicht solche Zustände sind wie in den USA ist meiner Meinung nach dass wir zumindest ein Minimum an Sozialstaat haben. Wenn wir Krebs bekommen brauchen wir kein Meth zu kochen - Krankenkasse zahlt. Wenn wir nicht schaffen uns finanziell zu versorgen müssen wir nicht in ne Gang eintreten sondern können Hartz IV/Sozialhilfe bekommen. Und wenn wir Schmerzen haben können wir gratis das Problem lösen lassen und müssen uns nicht mit billigeren Opiaten betäuben.

       @ZDF Psychotherapeutensuche? Viel Glück dabei! Falls überhaupt mal wer mit dir redet kannst du Monate lang warten und wenn du kaputt bist kann das ne unüberwindbare Hürde sein. Wenn du dann nach paar Stunden nicht wieder fit bist wirst du erst mal für 2 Jahre gesperrt und musst dir ne andere Therapieform und nen anderen Therapeuten suchen oder selber zahlen (100€/Sitzung). Und alles nur weil die Krankenkassen die Regeln bestimmen dürfen 🤮 Es lohnt sich aber trotzdem, versucht es!

       @ZDF kündigt einfach! Seit ich meinen gut bezahlten IT Job mit allem was man sich nur wünschen kann aufgegeben hab und stattdessen Hartz IV bekomme bin ich endlich glücklich nachdem ich davor 25/26 Jahre nur gemacht hab was man halt so "muss" und keinen Sinn in meinem Leben gefunden hab. Aber chillt nicht nur sondern macht was - nur verlangt dafür kein Geld sonst rutscht ihr nur wieder zurück ins Hamsterrad.

       @hackdefendr @Strandjunker @SunMcNukes Anarchism also has some positive examples. In the 1930s there was an anarchist revolution in Spain that in the end lost against Franco and Stalin. Also there is an interesting village called Marinaleda in spain that lives quite anarchist today and then there is Rojava which does the same in a lot bigger area (but they don't yet have peace). And there are far more examples in history.

       @BrodieOnLinux I am definitely no wizzard and I don't know the correct terms but on a mainboard there are things like switches to connect multiple peripherals to one CPU lane. My first guess would be that both of your storage devices shared the same "switch" and now each have their own. If thats true it could be mentioned in the manual of your mainboard.

       @alejandrobdn for me it depends on the kind of data. Bulk data where I can probably DL the most of it again gets only snapraid so if a disk dies I don't loose too much. But unique personal data is all in my Nextcloud and I make incremental backups every night and full backups every week (deleted after 90days). And every few months I put them on hard drives outside of my house.

       @gumnos I think a better solution would be to run a local mirror or (caching?) proxy e.g. in another Jail that has full network access.
