So my son has gotten into headphones. He wants to purchase a set of Fostex headphones for $150 and do the mods detailed here:https://www.head-fi.org/threads/open-alpha-t50-3d-printed-headphone-project-from-mrspeakers.825868/I had no idea such a fad this has become. He claims people will pay him $600USD for an improved set. Crazy.BTW, my spellchecker tries to change Fostex to Fisted, which might be happening to the people buying these improved head phones.😃

Back to work after 4 days off with a short interlude last night. I'm finding it hard to get back in the grind.We had my youngest daughter's 18th birthday yesterday. Today is my youngest son's 15th.There's an empty nest at the end of the tunnel.I wish there was an employment change on the horizon but I'm finding it's very out of style to hire an old white dude. Even if he's easily the most qualified candidate.

@r000t@jamieFrom my perspective, no apologies are necessary. This is what Mastodon is for.I don't know what you do but one option is contract work. They rarely dig into your personal background when you're a contractor.Full disclosure: I hate doing contract work but there are times when it's appropriate.

When I ran my 5K yesterday, it was 99°F(37C). I thought I was gonna die but I made it.Good news is I'm officially down 15lbs(7Kg) today from my starting weight.

@Iferballes@ekaitz_zarraga This reminds me of a stupid bar trick I used to do in the military(only after consumption of much alcohol!) I would snort my dogtag chain up my nose until it came down my throat. Then I'd cough that end out of my mouth, hold each end and run it back an forth. If I sneezed like this, it really hurt.Not sure why I just admitted this but there it is.😃
