Finally got my COBRA paperwork and now I'm even more scared and confused, because it seems to be saying that I have to pay the entire $700 monthly premium. I thought my former employer paid for that because I don't currently have an income.What's going on here? Am I reading this right?

Nonbinary folx don't get why people think Pluto was demoted.Pluto is happy no one's making it do planet shit anymore. You don't clear your orbit, and we're finally respecting that instead of demanding you act like your siblings.Also it's the type specimen of its own category now, which I always thought was a really cool thing to be.In hindsight, this should have been a sign, but 10-year-old me didn't have that context.

Got an actual response from a city councilmember. Lisa Herbold has scheduled a meeting of the Public Safety and Human Services Committee, which I think is tomorrow but I’ve written back to confirm the date. You can sign up for public comment here (https://www.seattle.gov/council/committees/public-comment), and she claims to be making an effort to include as many public commenters as possible.
