@lowqualityfacts we should be debating and marketing the concept of ' enough ' at least as much as we are debating ' freedom '.The FIRE movement has shown that from the first follows the second without much extra effort.

@stux @notjustbikes my neighbor (80, incl some motor problems)) is very sad.He cannot bike anymore; at least not as he defines biking: 2 100 km rides a week. He had to give that up last year, now he is really struggling with only mtb and City bike rides. It is not easy to adjust and downshift for anybody, and he cannot leave for another country to fix his problem😪Btw: he had sold his car, he cannot drive safely at those speeds anymore.

Het is blijkbaar totaal onwenselijk dat de #a12blokkade met muziek wordt opgeluisterd. Alsof dat onvreedzaam is, of misschien wel heel positief overkomt in alle media?Hoe zou 'men' reageren als dit filmpje van de reactie van de #a12 #muzikanten op deze inbeslagname goed rondgeboost wordt? Extra aandacht was mogelijk nu net niet de bedoeling.

@stux I honestly don't know what a person would ( want to) do with a billion or more. A million, yes...: you can leave work and start doing what you want. Build your own house. Bbq all summer. Knit all winter or organise in your neighborhood. Sleep all day. Whatever. But when you have all that, what do you need more money for? Serious question

@futurebird I can overbid. we(🇳🇱) have a minister of Justice that is not able to say the word "nazi" when a group of people attack a house of a political party and say "S13g H31l" on camera, when given a multiple choice questions on this by a journalist.

@aral I do not find this surprising, with what I read from the current Israël government. Checks with their civilization level. (Though I understand she was not burned, poisened nor any bones broken. There's even more imaginable)What Ãs relevant and news to me: when released, #Gretha did not want to talk about her treatment to journalists, but about why she went in the flotilla: #gazagenocide That is what she wants to be discussed. Not her treatment. Let's honor that.
