@judgedread World class ineptitude like using Epik as his host. There are other hosting providers out there which charge a lot less and are a lot more secure and specialize in hosting controversial sites. Plus he wouldn't have had to do the fake Super Christian nonsense. My little personal blog site is more secure than Gab.

@judgedread What blows the mind is that it's so simple to secure a site, and there are many ways to do it. A simple online search will find censor free web hosts. Gab hasn't even anonymized its domain name. That costs like $5 a year. I use a third party CDN service to hide my name servers, and it has a firewall/WAF which blocks DDoS attacks. Easy peasy. Torba is either terminally obtuse or Monster has some sort of hold over him.

@judgedread He paid $200K for a domain name?? Who did he pay, the Prince of Nigeria? I could create a new website right now with domain name "gab.whatever" as domain names aren't tied to the hosting company but the registrar. A lot of people use the same company as host and registrar but it's not mandatory. A 5 year old could register their own domain name and pay for it out of their piggy bank. Shit, I wish he'd have come to me to set up his website, I could use the $200K and it would be up now because I'd have used Zensur Frei as the host.

@MaceDindu Transgenderism is nothing but a fad, a fashion statement. Not too long ago, a man would be ashamed and embarrassed to walk about in public wearing lipstick and a dress. Now it's fashionable and many so-called "transgenders" are doing it out of a desire to be "edgy" and to follow the latest trends. There is also a subset of deviants which uses cross dressing as a means to gain access to their sexual targets. For example, to get into women's washrooms to harass them or peep at them as they use the toilets, or to gain access to children. In Canada we have a real sicko named Jessica/Jonathan Yaniv, he's a typical example of a deviant transsexual. It's interesting to note that there are far fewer transgendered females than males. This is because women shaving their heads and dressing up in male attire don't garner attention the way a man in a dress and lipstick does. Not to mention the fact that lesbians adopted this form of dress many years ago so there's nothing "edgy" about it.Even before the transgender fad began, there were men who were either hetero but turned on by cross dressing or homosexual male drag queens. Now the fad has made it socially acceptable for any man to throw on a dress and a wig and claim to be transgendered. There are also the attention seekers who dress their kids up as their opposite gender to show how edgy and fashionable they are by turning their own children into status symbols. The worst part is that some of these sicko parents are subjecting their children to gender reassignment surgery. Once upon a time it was impossible to get access to gender reassignment surgery unless the patient went though years of assessment and therapy to determine if they suffered from true gender dysphoria - a condition which is extremely rare, unlike fake trannies.Once this fad comes to an end, it will leave a lot of psychiatrically and physically devastated women and children in its wake.

@MaceDindu Hmm that's too bad. They seem a lot less visible or militant than the males. I don't see too many news stories about a transgender female to male ranting at a coffee shop cashier for misgendering them. But that doesn't mean they don't. But I'm guessing they don't harass men in men's locker rooms or washrooms as some of the "male to female" trans do to women.

@MaceDindu It's ironic that male to female and female to male transgenders are so different because it affirms the differences between the female and male genders. Otherwise all transgenders would have the same traits.

@rasterman Yep, his pajeet techs never learn. The best thing Durbo could do for Blab is to sell it off to someone who knows how to find a good censor free host and keep the site secured. My teeny little blog site is more secured than Blab.
