@sir Can you imagine a world where git would be decentralised and people would use it that way instead of centralising their stuff on github?

@sir I guess because people nowadays are monstly not capable of using a computer. So irc as a protocol became too "hard" to use. Then companies came and hid all this nasty technical stuff in fancy guis, emojis and stuff. This lead to people not caring about the underlying protocol as long as they were able to post funny gifs which lead to companies to implement proprietery protocols to wall the users in.

@sir That are awesome news. I hope you'll get a solid funding as soon as possible.

@sir Can you explain to me why? I thought UTF-8 would be better because it covers more characters (I am talking about language based characters and not emojis)

@sirAre you planning to write a blog post about all the bits and pieces you used to setup your streaming server? Rhat would be great. :)

@cwebberI think the aspect of having a user interface for issues and such is very important. Even in a distributed system like git. Have you ever checked out fossil scm? From my quick search it feels git-like but it has also a webinterface built in with thungs like a wiki and an issue tracker. And all these information are part of the repository so they are distributed with the actual sourcecode.@dansup

@tom79I have a question in this matter. I can understand your decision. But is it really that big of a problem that your app can be configured to connect to gab or similar networks? Wouldn't it be the same problem with every Reddit app because you can configure it to show t_D or every chan-browser because it can show /pol/?I am sure that there is more to this issue I am currently not understanding so every bit of additional info about this matter is highly appreciated.

@sirI am interested. Are there any requirements besides not having a blog at all? Topics, word count?

@sirWell count me in. However I am living in Germany. Is that a problem? And of course it wasn't about low effort posts. More like do you want 1000 or 10000 words per post. :)
