Does anyone have experience setting up a #mastodon instance on a #RaspberryPi on a home network and using #dynamicdns to connect to it?I am not sure if that kind of setup is supported?I get through the entire install just fine but nginx won't start after I successfully add certs with letsencrypt. Do I need to #PortFoward any specific ports other than 80 and/or 443? I feel like I am SO close!

I'm 99% sure the letsencrypt part - although i know I did it right and uncommented the config file properly was responsible for screwing up the nginx service from not being able to restart.

@nickheer This is rich - this, coming from @NewYorkTimes The New York Times, who when I sent a request to fully delete my account and remove my personal info I got a letter back from their "Data Governance board " basically saying since I don't live in a state which affords me any data privacy rights they simply are refusing to comply -- since (presumably) they are not legally obligated.

@stux even with pi hole it is basically impossible to block ads on a Smart TV. With enough patience and fine-tuning you can do a fairly decent job in your browser until YouTube catches up or if the ad plays on the same domain
