Wondering whether we should crate our 2 female dogs AT NIGHT. We adopted them at 1 or 2 years old and they had both lived wild, apparently. We take them out 3 or 4 times a day, including pee breaks, but are having persistent problems with peeing around the house. It often happens that 1 pees and the other marks. We took the decision to stop allowing them on the bed at night because the marker always insisted on marking it. So now we make sure they're comfortable in the living room. They haven't complained about this, but every night now we are finding pees... And they are peeing during the day too, even though we take them out at least every 4 hours. It is getting to ridiculous levels.So we are wondering whether crating them at night would help discourage some of this behaviour. They wouldn't be in the crates long, we tend to go to bed around midnight and they'll be walked by 8 am at the latest...Advice please!
