Electrical assistance please. I have this sub panel and I want to add a 50 dc breaker to run a 180v 40amp motor for my knife grinder. Is it possible? All the breakers in the panel are 15 amp, I believe this panel just covers my garage and maybe the water heater. Will I do damage if I just give it a try. Any assistance is sincerely appreciated.

@blueeyeswhtdrgn I honestly don't know, I didn't think it made a difference I thought you just make both wires hot in the double breaker.

@cjd yes variable speed is crucial. Last time I had this machine hooked up I ran it off my pool motor sub panel.

@cjd I found a PDF with the controllers details. I think these pages are what's is relevant. It appears that the controller will work both with 110 & 220.

@cjd is this the selector switch you're thinking? A search turns up all kinds of items.

@cjd @SIrLongTheGood the controller has been used with the motor for many, many years without issue. I'm looking into a different motor, but I doubt it will be as good as the leeson. I didn't think adding a double breaker with two hots and a ground wired 10' to the 220 outlet would be that difficult, but I'm far from an expert.

Looking for small online webshop recommendations. I used to be pretty good with WordPress 15 years ago, but I remember it always needing to be updated and plugins can be tough to deal with. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with a shopping cart type plugin. I have not looked into Shopify, but I think it's a pay per month kinda thing which would be ok if reasonable.does anyone have a platform they trust?

@Richard by hosted do you mean hosted by WP or my personal hosting company. I'm not sure if my hosting company would provide updates. I'll look into squarespace. I would like to host the site on my web host. It's been a long time since I did any web work and I'm sure things are easier now, than 20 years ago.

@Jagahati I haven't tried noodlers ink, is it worth it? I have been getting the pilot iroshizuko inks. I don't go through them at all fast. What kind of pens do you like? I'm new to fp but my lady 2000 is a great pen. I also really like my 699 clone from wingsun.

The only thing I needed on black Friday was a good ole gas lawn mower, guess what zero off at the home depot. I burned thru 2 pos electric mowers in 3 years, gas for me from here on out.

@bajax @GluedToTheScreen I have sticks and giant tree pods to mulch, electric can't handle it. Granted my first electric mower death was probably my fault, I didn't use a popper gauge power cord, I think I shorted it out somehow.

Hey my previous no agenda crowd turned anti na crowd. I used to make WordPress sites 15 years ago, but I was forced to dust things off for my wife's growing business (great sales on the chicom tt platform and I could do without the current slave job). Give me the brutal and needs to be fixed asap kick in the ass that I welcome. If you make me cry, I will slowly get over it, but may hate you for it. Dudes name Ben, please don't hack me.Simplydoughlectable.com
