@CliffWade I remain indifferent about them. I do remember when the verified checkmark was useful on Twitter. On Mastodon/Fediverse, it could be just as useful. Just a matter of if enough people on here have a bad taste in thier mouth about such things

@Optimoose There absolutely is a place for lab workers and chemists. You could try using the words "chemist", "chempro" and "labrat" in your introduction.. Just put a hashtag in front of those words. (Hashtags are gonna be your friend, here in the fediverse)

@meesj @Krisss.Ik weet dat Twitters oude "blue checkmark" systeem veel mensen in staat stelde om gemakkelijk het blauwe vinkje te krijgen. Er waren geen dure kosten aan verbonden. Je vroeg er gewoon een aan. Dezelfde vraag die jij stelde zou toen ook bij mij opkomen. Wat is het nut? Ik begrijp persoonlijk niet waarom het zo leuk is om geverifieerd te zijn. Dus misschien weet ik het antwoord niet

FedEx is the worst. Thier tracking system is utterly useless and thier drivers don't bother to use doorbells or want more than 2 seconds before deeming that someone is not home.System false flags things as failed deliveries. So the system thinks that they have a tried to deliver to me 4 times bc of how truck logistics and manifests work. It is because of these four supposed attempts that I cannot have the package scheduled for re delivery.
