@Lemonhead Good, enjoyed the last ones. Incidentally, just today picked my third mess of blueberries, this time a gallon and a half. That makes 4.5 gallons off my 4 plants and the berries are very big. Might have another 1-1/2 gallons left to get when they are ready.

@Jaime @umad80 Doing really good here and yes the jam is done. Gave some berries to a couple of neighbors and one lady made cobbler-2 batches and brought me one. Oh boy, nice to have neighbors like that. Wish I could share with y’all too but you know-logistics. I have one more mess to pick and that will be the end for this year.

@timr Thank you for this thread on the legislation going on about the budget and proposed spending. I never knew a lot of these things assuming it was just a done deal. You have opened my eyes to the process and make it much easier for someone like me to realize how this process works. Look forward to your next thread. I am sure it will be packed with great information for a novice like me.

@JM Prediction for weather this week is about 60% chance of rain for 2 days-today and tomorrow and highs in 80s for 3-4 days and a couple of days 60s at night. May be a little relief on the way, but I don’t really count on it until it actually happens.

@rarity Thanks a bunch. 200 miles inland here, it track shows the storm passing within 10 miles to our west. Ugh, I hate being on the east side, but it is what it is. 6-8 inches of rain and wind about 30-40 mph. Not the worst I have ever been through, Katrina and Camille come to mind.. and no brews here. Had to quit for health reasons.@Debradelai

@Lemonhead I have always watched the pressure in millibars. Has always been my indicator of seriousness. If millibars start to drop and continue that path, LOOK OUT.
