@judgedread Being thought of as colored they were relegated to the neighborhoods and employment they’d share with Polish, Japanese, Irish, Italian, and African folk. As such, the rest of American society would languish in superstition and other fears while the colored society innovated, steam engines and cotton gins, and produced jazz. @minty @mushroom_soup Medieval ages one need only walk the streets to see that kind of thing. Some streets more than others. Theater has been loaded with lewd entertainment since theater existed. I think one Roman senator even wrote for it. I can't imagine an ancient empire, or city, that didn't have some sort of related entertainment. @francisscottkey I'm suggesting prevention. What leads to a mind set where one person can violate another's person or property? Can we use that knowledge to keep that kind of mind from setting in? Or at worst, from causing harm? What does it take to identify a molester? and can we do it before they molest? Can it be prevented?
