@aljazeera I am seeing some very one sided news right now. No doubt that what Hamas did is barbaric and terroristic in nature. But Israel does not have clean hands either as it bombs and kills innocent civilians in Gaza. Not to mention these attacks by settlers.The bottom line is that Israel stole and continues to steal land from Palestinians...

@futurebird Capitalism is a problem when there are no guardrails. After all if you really want to reduce labor costs then slavery is the answer. But we don't accept slavery because it is terrible and indecent and against all things that we should stand for.It's the greed that ruins it all. @stux I would have joined the protests but my son had an appointment to get an MRI today on his foot. They had already rescheduled the appointment twice and frankly we were worried that he would not get that MRI because of our fascist ruler.Also, I wish that they had done a better job of advertising the protest here because I only found out about it after the fact.

@stux I was just over on Fakebook and saw that a law enforcement agency one county over from me posted up something about Charlie Kirk. I was thinking why would law enforcement be getting involved in such things... I live in El Paso County, which is basically Colorado Springs and this post was from neighboring Teller County, which is up in the mountains. Apparently it is a right wing circle jerk up there. I sent them a message through Messneger asking why they were getting involved in politics.

@futurebird I don't do Scamazon. But unfortunately some Scamazon sellers also are allowed to sell on Ebay. I try to avoid them but Ebay has no policy to notify you that a given seller is from Scamazon. So once in a while it happens that I buy from some seller there unless I first ask before I buy. Ebay should have better policies in place to address this.
