       @IronCurtain @aniltj @mmasnick @pluralistic Which is fantastic, but such a rare choice for companies to make.I love it both from a consumer rights standpoint and also an environmental one. That can help keep older devices from becoming e-waste not just with repairs to broken parts, but also uploading new software which can extend the usefulness of old hardware. Like putting ChromeOS on an old windows laptop, and getting more years of useful performance out of it.

       @davew I find the concept of installing a whole app to read one single website intolerable.I already have an app for reading a website, and it reads all websites. It's called a browser. I'm allergic to single-site apps.
