@grammargirl It might take a lawsuit, but IT staff can investigate how the chatbot got those factually wrong. All it does is draw from sources online of course. It's accepting propaganda, or can't fact check, or is transposing names, something like that.

See from the last boost, that Froomkin has started slowly to return to Mastodon, after junking it for Twitter all summer.Regret to be posting in opposition to progs still over there, except that it's well beyond pale at this point. We knew when Musk bought it that he would turn it immediately into a RW propaganda mill. With misinformation and hate speech run amok. And that is exactly what happened.

Also the claimed salaries sound high, many tech workers have been downsized out of work in the last year. It's unlikely that Google has to pay $700,000 for software engineers. Further, if true Google - by undercutting some workers - would be opening themselves up to a massive, historic class-action discrimination lawsuit. Will stand corrected but doubt they are that careless.
