Here's a thought while I play a 55 year old record Vinyl records will outlive all other media formats won't they They've already outlived tape and cd which were supposed to replace them If you store a vinyl record properly it would still play in a thousand years What other music format can do that? Can music on a hard drive hope to last that long?Can an MP3 last a thousand years?#vinyl#programming

This recording of Aretha's voice, at the moment exists in multiple physical formats like tapes, records and cd's and also as files on hard drives The physical copies will eventually all disappear though. It gets thrown away. I suspect most of it already has been. Here's the big question.How are we saving our greatest music so our future generations can listen to it in 1000 years? #vinyl#programming #tech

Reality check!I don't like the pushback on ICE vehicle phase out either but it doesn't mean you can't still buy them!Right now we're producing 65% of our power from renewables.One of the highest percentages in the Western world and that will only accelerate next year Be proud of that We did it. We paid for that infrastructure to be built through subsidies We did it. Not the Govt Be proud people 🇬🇧
