Honestly I don't really have a problem with people putting Minors DNI in their bio or whatever. Like, idunno, I get why there might be a gap of experience between you, an adult, and some random child on social media that you don't really want to deal with, free country. I have to wait like a year and a half to follow some accounts on here, big deal.I *do* have a problem with MDNI folks interacting with minors though, because, like, uh, you know, that's not what your bio says, buddy. I *do* feel like Fedi is actively harmful towards minors but that's only because of the staggering number of actual unironic pedophiles on here. And, like, sorry for the subpost but I've seen some people on here bemoan having to read people's bio to see if they're MDNI before favoriting/boosting, and like, are we supposed to do that?
