@john It didn't seem that way and I was with the husband and we were both chatting to him. Though maybe crushing loneliness. I think maybe people get Ideas when they see my pink hair? Or maybe he did overhear my accent talking to my husband. It was weird. Even the husband said the guy was a bit stare-y ... Though maybe he was just confused because I was refusing to tell him I was from America aka I'm not playing along with normal conversation?

@penguin42 https://www.gardenersworld.com/plants/small-trees-for-heavy-and-clay-soils/You do need to baby young/freshly planted trees and shrubs for the first few years. Shame yours perished. I think rowans are mountainous (based on their other name being mountain ash) so probably prefer drainage.

Gunna go see the 2nd x-files movie today in the cinema. I have upset myself by realising the cool X-files Expo I went to when I was younger was when I was *16* geeze I'm old.

At that Expo, you got a free floppy disk, and they had a few people hanging around with Sony Mavica FD7's and you could flag them down and they would put your floppy disk in their camera and they would take photos for you, like whatever you pointed at. I had one very bad photo of the props (frozen hand in ice etc). I remember being entertained the props looked less real than on the tv show.

@john Also I'm sure somewhere in my stuff, that floppy still exists - it had X-files Expo labelling on it. I kinda can't believe I somehow convinced my dad to drive me and the bf 2hrs each way to it but I know he loved computers/cameras so he probably got a kick out of the digital camera experience if nothing else.

@john I'm only on, like, three major servers(1 mega server) and I mostly private message people. I like my wife range of emoticons I made a server for, for me and my two friends. But I generally like discord and use it most of my waking hours.

ughh... tired and cranky. oscillating between doing chore (which actually now requires several things to be done first) and just bunking off and playing games today. Really want to hoover. but also i need to empty it. and we're low on bin bags. and i need to rearrange the bin bags in the bin because i put too light and fluffy binbag at the bottom and it didnt fall out arugh

@john It's my accountability forcing me if I post. Also helps me organise thoughts. I've now managed to do the hoovering after hunting for the carpet sweeper bit for half an hour too. Did not resolve binbags issue so I should do that now because I had forgotten it already.

@penguin42 I would use the softest natural paintbrush possible gently rubbed on the side of your nose to sweep any dust off if you can't use a hand held blower bulb. Water is iffy especially for cardboard held slides. Also you have to be aware that it will make the gelatin side swell and be sticky and possibly cause the dust to embed more deeply
