@cyberanathema More unionization can be a good thing. Certain retards in management, after failing to destroy union spirit, attempt to co-opt it to be closer to the spirit of what the management class wants- getting the causality of unionization totally backwards.

@cyberanathema @InceptionState I agree with this cordycept sentiment- traditionally "Red" groups in the UAW and pipeline unions came out in support of Joe Biden (who then proceeded to cut their collective balls off with regards to Keystone and other restrictions), whereas Republicans have traditionally been neutral or overtly hostile to unions.The misunderstanding of a union is in the placement of interests- workers are going to want to work in better conditions and better hours for better pay, and the modern American manager believes they can take this urge and press it into support for any of their given pet projects. They see a union as a handle on the working class, and in a few senses they're correct- but just because one has co-opted the union doesn't mean you've managed to quench the union spirit, or alter the interests of the people the union represents, and ultimately if one can't cooperate with their representatives, people will stop playing that game.What could have been a better view into the needs and desires of the workers in a managerialist's enterprise becomes a limp, ineffective piece of bloat and bureaucracy that will now fail to give you any warning when it comes to wildcat strikes and the like.A SMART society would more fully integrate the union structure into the very highest levels of management, but that's slim pickings compared to the other problems we're facing.Endless immigration is one solution to this, a technocratic attempt to alter the world before altering themselves, but that is going to bite them in the ass, as it already is.
