I am sure @amolith will love this one. I had some weird moments with matrix-synapse just now. Story is; I have an Matrix-server that is delegated so that I can have prettier handles, so basically I have @stefan:lightnovel-dungeon.de instead of @stefan:chat.lightnovel-dungeon.de all achieved with a .well-known

@amolith lol I should not write on a pinephone lol. Judt hit send although I.was not done yet. So I basically set a server-delegation as described here: https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/blob/develop/docs/delegate.mdNow I had a problem with logging in via neochat. Contacting the devs they told me I miss a *client*-delegation for neochat to work, which is nowhere to be found in synapses' documentation on delegation. There was a pr which should adress this doc-issue but never got anywhere: https://github.com/matrix-org/synapse/pull/7332The reasoning is a bit silly also. But I will.see if I can contribute back something on the issue. Just having fun with synapse

@enigmatico snapshots that come with btrfs are nice. You can make Arch semi-rolling and always* have a usuable system*well if the filesystem does not die that is. Happend one to me in a few years using it. I could copy all my data though with btrfs-tools

Ich bin mir immer noch unschlüssig wegen dem Pinephone und welche Software ich nehmen soll. Ich mag aber Arch Linux ARM an sich sehr gerne. Insgesamt läuft Phosh viel runder als Plasma im Moment. Plasma hat aber ein besseres Keyboard. Ich muss mal schauen ob ich das in phosh tauschen kann. Phosh hat sonst noch das mit den nervigen Notifications die man nicht einfach wegwischen kann. Dafür funktioniert in der Phosh-Version Anbox während es unter Plasma net geht. Plasma hat aber eine funktionierende 2FA-App. Die von Gnome läuft nicht wirklich. Mir scheint es aber auch so dass phosh im moment besser ist mit dem Battery-Management. Plasma verliert im Idle sehr viel Saft. Das ist echt nicht einfach was tolles zu finden was gut nutzbar ist. Was nutzt denn die #pinephone Bubble so auf ihren Geräten und warum? Ich überlege grade noch ob Mobian vielleicht eine bessere Wahl als Arch-Phosh ist. 🤔

I will likely give conduit a try instead of synapse for a matrix-server. It seems more lightweight, which might be good for my usecase. Also it seems way more simple compared to synapse, which is good. I never had synapse break on me, but I don't really like touching it either. They have a warning that makes me a bit unsure though: https://gitlab.com/famedly/conduit#what-is-the-current-status I will likely try it anyway

@vib I like using a password-manager personally. So I just need to memorize one strong password and all other can be really long and random, making them hard to memorize. Sadly there are certain usecases, where you cant use a manager. Computers at work and stuff.

@kranfahrer @puniko Ein MOC (oder My Own Creation) ist im Grunde eine Bauanleitung die ein Fan erstellt hat. Also nichts offizielles von Lego. Du musst also auch die Teile usw. selbst besorgen. Meist hat ein MOC nur eine Anleitung

@enigmatico Maybe you can answer a question I had on mind? When you repost an image do you have a duplicate of it on the server in pleroma? With misskey you could repost the image from your drive so it might in the end take up less space?
