Do you remember a few years ago now, there was a little bit of a trend of people going back to 'dumb phones.'? Is that even possible nowadays? There's quite a lot of things you need a smartphone for. Some online payments, signing up to stuff, healthcare providers, work-related apps (security, logins, shift apps etc etc) etcIs there any going back from this?I mean on a significant scale, for most of the population.

It really is appfatigue at this point for me, just on principle firstly, but also all the other faff it entails.Sounds like you have it to a minimum tho which is good.They really took all the fun out of the internet and it's like 90% admin and faff now.

Honestly if I turn up to a social media platform and got recommended a bunch of train people and saw a load of train posts, I would think "that's odd, wonder what that's all about, pretty funny."If I got to a social media platform and it's people saying the price of Bitcoin or Solana or cardano or nfts or etc etc. I go "blurrgh, no thanks".

I think some people should be forced to drive swlf-driving cars tbh.I think roads have become way more chaotic recently. Signalling turns is basically optional, pavements are like dodgems with undereats delivery people.I think at least fully automate / AI people's signal lights. How much worse can it get, barely anyone even does it lol
