@strypey ok but SaaS, and Apple’s aggressive upgrades, do this to me on the regular anyway. maybe it is the rate of constant change that causes people to cling even harder to familiarity. would be nice to say that ethical software projects recognise the value of familiarity, and that by shifting to them you are taking control of when and how change is managed. would be very nice indeed. alas, many projects don’t see the value in it, pretty much the opposite.
