Tras will say that the concepts of "man" and "woman" are social constructs whereas "stag" and "doe" for instance are not social constructs.The only way you can arrive at this conclusion is if you believe that women are a role performed in society.For some words this rationale does work. For instance, let's take "parent". Parent is a role in society where an adult takes responsibility for raising a child. In many (most?) cases they are also the progenitor of the child, but they *do not have to be*. Adoptive parents are parents. People sometimes say "biological parent" when they mean progenitor, which is a theme that bled through into tra narrative when they say "biological woman". But the point about parent is that it is a social function, a role performed by a person.So in order for this reasoning to apply to "woman", woman would have to be a role performed by a person in society. What role do women play? The only concrete thing you can say with respect to society is that it's women who bear children, which is purely a biological function not a social or cultural role. If you try to impose any other social "role" then this is fundamentally sexist.So we're not a social construct in the same way a parent is. We're just defined in terms of our biology.

As long as it's not fossil hydrocarbons it's pretty ok as far as the climate is concerned.Of course if Greens stopped attacking nuclear and pushed for 4th-generation you'd have a crap ton of baseload so the grid wouldn't have oopsies in the first place and we'd all have much safer nuclear facilities.

Actually no. Stats from the military also show that female combat pilots have much fewer accidents per flight hour than males. Females are safer.You are comparing the causes of the accidents when they happen, not the frequency of the accidents per flight hour overall.For what it's worth regarding your distinction over causes: men take more risks than women, and the higher risk taking is not compensated for by better dexterity or overall competence.

There is no mechanism to kick anyone out of NATO. Otherwise they would probably have started various procedures against Turkey for having colluded with Russia.The UN and the EU made the same mistake. They were so hyped up on the idea that members might want to join, they completely forgot that states change policies over time, sometimes quite radically and to the point that they no longer meet entry requirements or uphold the same values at all.

If your relay is suffering performance problems with the tiny number of Nostr users that there are it would seem to indicate a problem with the relay design/implementation rather than a problem with too many "inactive profiles" which in any case aren't creating events if they're inactive.
