@FiXato @MicroSFF It's either a Good Omens reference if the angel is Aziraphale, or a Supernatural reference if the angel is Castiel :)Crowley's a demon who's friends with that angel in each of these shows.

@karolherbst I would usually recommend Gnome (if it has to be between these two, and/or depending on who the recommendation is for), but I'm assuming this is for your latest laptop, on which the devs chose to ship KDE with by default, so that one will be more tested 🤷

@codewiz VLC is the one that I use regularly and still doesn't have proper Wayland support; its next major release should fix that though. I'm so close to dropping Xwayland!(Avoiding electron apps helps a lot obviously 😅)

@craftyguy oh nice, I didn't know these were a thing. Could be useful for these test devices where you need to type like 10 keys every few hours and have to have a whole extra keyboard on your desk just for that 😅I had a quick look and there's one called Zedo F40 which looks similar (and is much cheaper than I expected!); what's yours?

@whitequark @Tvorsk @eevee yes, in the same way CEOs are humans *and* CEOs hurt humans. And in both cases some members of that group also do good things (although probably not that many for CEOs), but in both cases I believe we would be better off without them 🤷

@whitequark sorry, I think I'm just extra grumpy today.The comparison was not fair, obviously CEOs are much worse. Debian devs do some good, but the way they do it (mostly because of their policies) is hurting both users (they get old & buggy software) and devs of the rest of the Linux ecosystem (wasting their time having to deal with angry users that were given bad software, many burning out). Debian _is_ hurting everyone.(Also, just boarded an airplane, I won't be able to reply for 2h+)

@whitequark also, Debian devs have skill the can apply in many others places, starting with any other distro, so I think they will not be affected all that much if Debian were to stop.And everything I've said so far applies to all Debian derivatives obviously
