@teto Like I said, malicious compliance. Keeping the battery integrated means people are more likely to buy an entirely new unit. They're only selling these in the EU because regulations are forcing them to, they don't want to lose the European market.

@teto The good question is why didn't decided to have batteries with 1000+ charge cycles to get around this, like pretty much any new phone.
