I know but this is a funnier interpretation.I'm directly under the flightpath between the Air Force Academy and Buckley Air Force Base. If they're going back, they circle directly overhead. If they're going on, they dog-leg right over me. I see stuff like that all the time.

I think this may be the first time I've ever seen one. Usually it's Blackhawks, (Comanches?), F-35's, (F-16's?), and the old WWII stuff that they like to parade around.

The US Naval Air Station at Whidbey Island regularly sends EA18 electronic warfare aircraft on training flights over our area. Back in the 2000s, they would fly near Mach at about 300 feet, and on one occasion had to pull up to avoid the trees. It scared the hell out of our sheep. The sound would be about 30 degrees behind the plane at that range. Now they fly at reasonable altitudes, so often the plane will pass before the sound arrives. We could tell when they were approaching because it would set off garage doors and cordless phone ringers.
