Yes we've been emptying our "strategic" oil reserve and giving it to companies who export it overseas.We have no plans to fill it up again.

@Terry tbh, their current course feels insane.If we started rationing energy in the states, cut out none essential things like big AI sites burning LNG or diesel, we could have a painful, but stable transition to less available global oil.But, instead they are burning the buffer, and letting demand increase at the same time.Shit is going to hit like a mac truck sometime in the next few months. Which I can only assume is there plan.

If you believe some schizos i have seen, oil shortages are part of the plan. Obviously I don't think they are perfect or anything but we have seen they are not that bad at managing the goycattle in situations like these. As we have seen, they goycattle in the west only do big riots when they are pre-approved and managed and target people the powers that be don't care about.

What that means is the "strait stays closed" scenario is so bleak that they told their analysts "why don't you keep that horror your personal little secret and never say it to anyone ever again as long as you live".Then one analyst thought for a minute and said "we could say the strait will be re-opened" and the boss said "there's someone thinking"...
