Well chit! Big problem with tractor. Lost air gauges, fuel gage, battery high voltage warning, traction control, A/C, power windows, stereo, high temp in rear axle warning, fifth wheel auto release and finally, windshield wipers turned on, won't turn off...Couldn't find the ejection handle so took it to a shop. Hope it's just a simple electrical issue...Hope I get home ontime

@TruckDriver Did a squirrel eat the wiring?A group of friends were having dinner in a CO mountain town and came out and one car would start but would not go into drive & had a bunch of warning lights on. I used the override to get it into gear so it could at least be driven. A squirrel ate the wiring bad enough to cause about $2K in damage. Not sure how long it took to get the wiring harness to replace it.

@TruckDriver sounds like a module on the CANBUS that controls those subsystems gave up, or comms to it were severed.Could be a bad voltage regulator in the alternator too, which could cause over voltage & all those sensors started acting up because they expect a specific voltage range to be present to work correctly. You did mention a battery high voltage warning.Best of luck on the fix.

@TruckDriver it has a cuck chair and a king sized bed, so you can either bring over a couple to watch as they go at it, or you can do it yourself on one side of the bed and sleep on the other.

@CattleBaron bad ground in the system. Took out important stuff. Won't get fixed til Monday. THEN theres a fuel pump sensor issue. They claim it's a separate issue but I doubt it.

@sensei It's a grounding issue. Battery Cables that attach to frame have a bad connection and are under recall anyway. They'll order tonight and parts should be in Monday. Truck shop is closed all weekend...

Update: Issue 1: Ground issue confirmed. Corrosion built up on terminals and multiple grounding points on frame. Also noticed that multiple ground points had been painted and the paint interfered with the connection. Issue 2: "fuel rail" issue. That's a new one on me... never heard of this. Probably might understand it under a different named description though. Hopefully i get back on the road this afternoon

@TruckDriver High Pressure Common Rail is another phrase for a Fuel Rail. It is a part of the stuff between the fuel tank and the fuel injectors on the engine.https://youtu.be/_wKs5TSEDyE?t=9A couple minute video describing a fuel rail (skipping a short introduction). Not sure the fuel rail has anything to do with all the lights you saw - just something else they noted was a bit off (like a rough idle etc.).Fixing the ground issues will fix most of the problems.

@TruckDriver Your tech might be an EMT or fireman. This reads like an incident report from my fire service days where if it’s not in the report it didn’t happen, and you never know what report you will have to testify about in court.
